“Spinner Saturdays” is a vinyl party series created for Fotografiska NY. The marketing centered on platforming local DJs and creating visuals that reflected the museum’s own branding aesthetic. It was important to acknowledge their aesthetic in order to draw in the institution’s constituents and supporters with visual familiarity, but also present new elements that pertained to vinyl culture. The result marries museum and party culture with the analog intersection of film, photography, records, turntables.
